HOW TO MEASURE COMPRESSION STOCKINGS AND SLEEVES
Measuring for Medical Compression Footwear (Toe Caps)

Find measuring point c-A1 (approximately the middle of the foot) and mark it.

Measure the circumference at c-A1.

Find and mark measuring point c-A (metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joints of the toes.

Measure the circumference at c-A.

Foot length measurement, medial (c-A1 to the metatarsophalangeal joint of big toe)

Foot length measurement, lateral (c-A1 to metatarsophalangeal joint of little toe).

Measure circumference X at the base of the toe. NOTE: For example, the circumference and length measurements are taken at the 2nd toe.

Measure circumference Z at the end of the toe or where the compression part of the toe cap should end.

Use the tape measure to determine the toe length from X to endpoint Z.
